These amazingly beautiful children happen to be my niece and nephew! We had a little photo session today before the craziness of Halloween begins.  

I love the pumpkins and flag in the background--no question what time of year it is!

My little buddy.  I taught him how to use my camera (or just push the button on top) and we took pictures of everything!  (trucks, plants, pumpkins, the sidewalk) and even got a few of him!

Rainy Day

Thank goodness for rainy days!  Today I was playing catch-up from a crazy weekend/week!  Here are a few pics from earlier this week, that I am just getting around to posting.  Meet my cousins little guy...It has been so fun watching him grow--and passing down all my boy clothes!  It has been fun documenting his life--today he is 18 months.

Christmas is right around the corner!!  If you are interested in getting a session with me for holiday gifts or cards, please contact me ASAP!!  Sessions are filling quickly and all Holiday orders must be in by November 15th!

that is all I have to say...I am exhausted after an hour!  How cute are they??

Twin # 2 (I think)...they are (so) identical, luckily one fell and scraped his chin halfway through our session--otherwise I could not tell who I was taking a picture of!

Tower Grove Park

For today's session we headed down to Tower Grove Park.  These two have the most amazing blue eyes with even more amazing red hair!  It was so fun to photograph them, and look we did get one with "W" smiling!!  Enjoy!  More to come soon...

A wedding, a ball and a tea party...

Finally getting caught up from this weekend...sorry for the delay, but here is your sneak peak "K" family!  These 2 sisters had all kinds of fun with me--I photographed their pretend wedding,  a fairy tale ball and we wrapped the day with a tea party!  I love this picture below.  As much as a love photographs, I love children's artwork...and the two together is priceless.  She was so proud to show me her Halloween bag that she made.

he he he, and here is their 8 week old baby brother!  this just makes me smile.  What a wonderful addition he is to this family.  Move over barbie!

Happy Fall!

I had a great session this morning!  The weather could not have been better--a perfect fall day! I love photographing children, even the ones you have never met before, can instantly become your friend!  I love their eye contact and their sweet smiles...thanks again!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!  

ATTENTION GAP KIDS!

Check him out!  He was telling me he wanted to enter a contest to become a model for Gap Kids...I think he should do it!  This was the first picture of the day, and already a pro!  

And here is his sweet little sister, I love her hair blowing in the wind and that sweet little face!

These two were such a pleasure to be with tonight.  And thanks Mom and Dad for taking me up on the "urban" thing!  This is in Downtown Kirkwood, my new favorite location.

A day in the life...

of a children's photographer.  This series of pictures cracks me up.  These little guys are from my session this morning.  This first picture was the very first picture of the day.  "Who is this lady and why is my mom making us do this."

The next one is half way through the session.  "Okay, she is nice and this is kind of fun!  We can show her how cute we are."
And this one was the very last picture of the day--and you can see why.  "Alright lady, if you want us, come get us!"

A case of the giggles!

I had a nice little vacation in Chicago, but I am glad to be back at work!  Here is a few from this mornings session.  I love it when the Mom warns me that her kids are not photogenic...because I know I will always prove them wrong :)...  and that is exactly what happened today!  They had the case of the giggles, which always brings out the natural, REAL smiles!
