We just returned from a destination wedding in Playa del Carmen, Mexico!  It was straight out of Martha Stewart or InStyle Magazine!  These pictures do not do it  justice (and I can't figure out how to make them bigger) but it was picture perfect!  The entire weekend could not have been better--good people, good weather, good food, good times!  Congratulations T&T!!

Sugar and Spice

What a sweet thing...7 day old baby "T".  She was the perfect hostess today!  She is so petite and tiny -I love how you can really tell how small she is in her mommy's hands in this picture.  Enjoy-- Mom and Dad and Aunt Kate!  

The Secret Location...

I always tell parents, if the kids are old enough, to go get some things done inside and I will take the kids for pictures.  I do this for several reasons, and one of them is because we always find fun locations.  Parents would think I am crazy--the kids just think it is fun.  This is one of them.  Our secret location...the garage.  Garage's have the best lighting and usually some cool textures. These two pictures were both taken in the garage.  These kids were so much fun!! Thanks guys for a great night!

Baby's First Year pictures-round 2

"A"'s newborn picture...

And here she is today!  3 months old already!  Recognize that great head of hair?  I always tell parents that the kids are in charge of my sessions, and today was a perfect example of that.  "A" was NOT ready for her pictures...so we waited, and waited and waited...and then, she was ready! This picture was worth the wait :)  

Happy Birthday!

This little guy is 7 days old today--happy 1 week birthday!  It took some time, but once we got him nice and  sleepy he was the best model!  I L-O-V-E newborn smiles--and always happy when I catch them on film.  

and baby makes THREE!

Okay, B, I know you said you did not want to be in any pictures--does this count??  I love how you can tell you are smiling in the background.  What a doll she is!

And then we have these two--could not be any cuter or easier to work with.  They did a great job--I think they deserve a popsicle tonight!  Hope you enjoy your peak!!

3 months

I was so excited to take Morgan's 3 month pictures!  I first met this family when Mom was 8 months pregnant.  They were so fun and up for anything...including letting me put stickers on her belly.

Then Mom, Grandma and I 'ooohed and aghhed' over how sweet she was when she was only a few days old.

She is 3 months old already!  It is so fun to see them change and grow.  This shot was so funny--Mom was hiding below, holding Morgan up, Dad was holding a monkey on my head and singing some funny tune, and this is what we got!  It was so worth "losing our dignity"--right, Dad!

The wedding "photographer" crasher...

No, I am not a wedding photographer--let me get that out first...however, if you invite me to your wedding--I will take pictures :)!  This was my cousin's wedding--it was such a blast. We danced all night to the best wedding band ever...The Rythym Rocker's (they have played at 5 family weddings, including my own). Here are a few of my favorite photos.  Congrats guys!!  

THINK SPRING...

As I sit here wet from the rain-- in my hoody and jeans...i have to remind myself spring is coming.  The tulips are in bloom at the botanical garden and spring is, i hope, coming back soon.
